Mixed-income, mixed-use housing and health-related service facility

Client: Shelter Resources, Inc.

The Views at Madison is an apartment community that offers truly stunning views in all directions from the top of Madison hill at 19th Avenue in Seattle. Two residential buildings built atop a covered parking garage offer 97 units of affordable and market rate workforce housing along with an elevated outdoor courtyard, common laundry and exercise room. The complex provides a mix of 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom units including set-asides for formerly homeless households. This mixed-use project also provides 26,000 square feet of space for the Hearing Speech and Deafness Center, a nonprofit provider of diagnostic, educational and treatment programs and assistive technology to hearing impaired individuals.
